With an illustrious career spanning over three decades in the Marine Industry both on and off shore, Lionel lends his expertise in managing technical operations, new buildings and understanding of marine software solutions, to the team at South Nest.
A graduate in Marine Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic, his sailing tenure with various shipping companies for ten years concluded in his role as Chief Engineer and subsequently moved on-shore as Technical Superintendent for seven years. Lionel served as Vice President Asia Pacific with SpecTec Asia Pacific Ltd for over a decade and a half, establishing the company from scratch and setting up operations for the region. His elaborate stint in overall marine operations including software applications has added the required expertise in developing the inconsistencies from other existing marine suite applications into a more reliable integrated set of such solutions for South Nests.
Anand has over twenty years of professional experience in enterprise software design, application development and project management.
A Masters graduate in Computer Science from University of Louisville, Anand specializes in software design and development, having worked with reputable International companies including Teledata Marine Solutions – a marine enterprise solutions company. He has spearheaded the establishment, development and continued growth of South Nests from his thorough industry experience.
